Design thinking is 1 of the building blocks for digital transformation.
It is a user-centred approach to problem solving with these ingredients:
Human centred
Mindful of process
Show don’t tell
Bias towards action
Radical collaboration
Culture of prototyping

1. Embracing ambiguity
We have to accept that we don't have all the answers.
* Embrace multiple perspectives.
* Give team mates space to explore.
* Don't be in a rush to finish.

2. Empathy and Inclusion
The lifeblood of human centred innovations, cultivating and appreciating diverse voices to inspire new thinking. Look at the problems & ideas in a more thoughtful way.
* Step into the perspectives of others.
* Include outside voices.
* Think about inclusion through process.
3. Generative Leadership
A positivity mindset that infects the group. secure positive feedback by getting people to focus on What ifs instead of Why not. Create an optimistic environment that boosts creativity and confidence.
* Make rough prototypes.
* Dive in and explore together.
* Encourage ideas with optimism.
4. Show and Act Quickly
Paramount for rapid collaboration. Get what's in your head out into the open, so others can build upon it. Apply prototyping thinking to ideas that are being discussed.
* Encourage rough comps and sketches.
* Sketch in the moment.
* Embrace imperfection.
Move fast and prioritize sharing over selling. Don't go for perfection.
